Engineer in Artificial Intelligence and computational Geometry

PULSALYS, DeepTech incubator and innovation accelerator of Lyon & St Etienne, develops the innovative products & services of tomorrow. As part of a project with two laboratories of the INSA of Lyon, CREATIS and the LIRIS in collaboration with the startup VISUAL BEHAVIOR, PULSALYS is recruiting a research engineer for a temporary contract of 18 months.

The challenge of this project is to develop a navigation module that will give a robot the ability to move around in its environment by locating and mapping it. The programme focuses on the technological development and implementation of a SLAM (Simultaneous Location And Mapping) algorithm adapted to moving objects in a scene and integrating original and innovative data and processing, specific to images on colour, depth, optical flow and others.

You hold a PhD degree in the fields of artificial intelligence with in-depth knowledge of computer vision, computational geometry (more specifically “multiple view geometry”) and C++ development. Knowledge of mathematics such as linear algebra and optimisation will be a real advantage.
